Suffolk Chief Officer Statement

Tania Farrow, Chief Officer of Community Pharmacy Suffolk has released the following statement:

“At the end of March, I will leave my role as Chief Officer of Suffolk LPC after 9 years in this position. In this time, I have learned so much and met so many amazing people whose dedication to the health of their communities is humbling.

“These continue to be challenging times for all in the healthcare sector, not least for community pharmacies but there is some light at the end of the tunnel. Nationally, community pharmacies continue to demonstrate the huge value they have to primary care through delivery of new clinical services. Locally, the merger of the Norfolk and Suffolk LPCs provides the best possible support for contractors, with experienced committee members and dedicated and talented Officers continuing to work with ICB and wider partners on your behalf.

“After 37 years in community pharmacy, this has never been just a job for me, it feels more like part of my DNA, so I am sure I will continue to support the sector where I can in the background. I would like to thank you all for your hard work, support and cheerful optimism and I wish you and your teams all the very best for the future.”
