Research for Community Pharmacy

Research for Community Pharmacy

My name is Clare Daly and I am a pharmacist employed by NIHR (research arm of the NHS) to promote and support research in community and primary care pharmacy. I have been in post a while and supported numerous pharmacies across Eastern to be involved in research.

The studies involve pharmacy teams helping to support an established approved study, where the roles and remuneration would be given at an ‘expression of interest’ stage allowing you to assess your interest, capacity and capability.

Please do watch the short video for Community Pharmacy staff teams to learn a little more about research in their primary care setting. Engaging with Research in Your Community Pharmacy explains the benefits for the pharmacy and customers and how to get involved.

I can also support pharmacists to investigate their own research question by signposting to the appropriate support.

I will use this space to advertise suitable studies for you to get involved in, and any relevant training opportunities.
