Talk about Cancer Training

Early diagnosis is extremely important in the fight to cure cancer and the ability to talk about it without feeling embarrassed or awkward is key.

Cancer Research UK have developed an Online training package dedicated to communicating with your patients. It teaches you

how to have simple and effective conversations with customers relating to cancer
how to help your customers make healthy lifestyle choices
how to encourage them to access local services
and importantly, how to encourage them to visit their GP promptly if they notice changes to their body.

The training is led by Cancer Awareness Trainers at Cancer Research UK.

It is a free online course over 3 weeks
for 1 hour per week.
You can currently register interest for new course dates
Certificates are available. (chargeable)
It is suitable for any member of staff
No previous experience required
Open to any Pharmacy
